Senior Engineer

Gortmore are working with a leading contractor who are looking for a Senior Engineer on a RC project in the Camden area. Learn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.

The Candidate Must

• Have previous experience working on RC structures, service/drainage installation, etc.
• Be competent in ordering rebar and liaise with designers regarding detailing.
• Have previous experience working with designers.
• Monitor, manage, and distribute project information to several site engineers to ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control.
• Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed specification.
• Ensure Project QA is being carried out and the site diary is maintained.
• Be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings, and quantifying/ordering materials such as concrete, rebar, and drainage/earthworks materials.
• Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
• Have excellent communication skills for distributing project information to colleagues.
• Have excellent problem‑solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
