Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to support the NWL Health and Wellbeing Temperature Check Programme through practice and PCN engagement.

This role focuses on building relationships with GP practices and Primary Care Networks (PCNs) to generate interest in the programme and expand participation across NWL. The successful candidate will help promote the offer, support workforce wellbeing initiatives, and contribute to achieving programme engagement targets.

This opportunity would suit someone who is target-driven, confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels, and interested in expanding their knowledge of NWL systems and workforce wellbeing initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engage with GP practices and PCNs through local borough Training Hub meetings, email communication, telephone calls, and on-site visits
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Health & Wellbeing Temperature Check programme and act as a subject matter expert
  • Share information about the programme and communicate the benefits of hosting a temperature check
  • Support the maintenance and updating of the NWL practice contact database, ensuring main contacts are current
  • Work towards a monthly engagement timetable and contribute to meeting programme performance targets
  • Maintain professional written and verbal communication with all stakeholders

  • Participation in an annual individual performance review, including taking responsibility for maintaining a record of own personal and/or professional development
  • Taking responsibility for own development, learning and performance and demonstrating skills and activities to others who are undertaking similar work
  • Attend any relevant training or updates required to support the role

Special Working Conditions

  • Travel independently to different sites and venues to attend meetings

  • Ability to plan, coordinate and deliver programme of work on time and to a high standard
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to finish tasks completely and to a high standard
  • Ability to keep full, accurate and up-to-date records to a high standard
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience of working in primary care
  • Good knowledge of workforce issues within primary care
  • Knowledge of current national and London‑wide agendas and responsibilities

£40,000 FTE (4 month secondment / 1 day per week)
