Role Title: Boomi Technical Consultant

Overview
We are seeking two experienced Boomi Technical Consultants to support a major digital integration programme for a UK public sector client. The successful contractors will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise integration solutions using the Boomi platform.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact transformation initiatives within a complex stakeholder environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy integrations using Boomi AtomSphere
- Develop APIs, data integrations, and workflow automations
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and project teams to deliver scalable integration solutions
- Support integration of cloud and on-premise applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical integration issues
- Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and public sector standards
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and technical workshops
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to stakeholders and delivery teams
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with Boomi AtomSphere
- Proven experience delivering integration solutions in enterprise environments
- Experience with APIs, REST/SOAP web services, XML, JSON, and ETL processes
- Knowledge of cloud integration patterns and middleware technologies
- Experience integrating systems such as Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, or similar enterprise platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities
- Ability to work effectively within Agile delivery teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working within UK public sector environments
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards within government organisations
- Boomi certifications
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or Azure/AWS cloud environments
