Job Description:

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the development and implementation of web-based projects, and analyse digital performance metrics.
  • Work in collaboration with service areas to deliver innovative and user-focused digital solutions that support the organization’s strategic objectives and ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Operate in an agile and collaborative way, using modern tools and methods to design, develop and test digital products and services.
  • Embrace a culture of experimentation and learning, gathering feedback, measuring impact and fully understanding benefits to continuously improve.
  • Support the ongoing development, optimisation and governance of the LocalGov Drupal platform, including improving user journeys and ensuring digital services meet accessibility standards and user needs.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Diploma Level 3 in web technology or multimedia technology and significant recent experience.
  • Experience working on enterprise-size websites, including knowledge of content management systems, HTML coding, SharePoint server, statistical analytics packages and design software.
  • Knowledge of web legislation and best practice (W3C, WCAG, SocITM and EU directives).
  • Experience identifying evidence-based improvements to service delivery through online systems.
