Devops Tooling Lead (Cloud Technical Implementation Manager)

Location: Warwickshire – hybrid or remote work available – must be UK based.

Duration: Until October 2026.

Rate: £800 per day, inside IR35 via umbrella.

Our leading financial services client in the Midlands is undergoing a cloud migration process – lift and shift (rehosting) from on‑prem to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Implement cloud strategy.
• Define and implement tool chains.
• Define and implement guard rails.
• Work with partners to deliver optimisation.

Qualifications

• Strong DevOps tooling/engineering background with Azure Cloud.
• Recent team lead/technical management experience.
• Experience managing a cloud migration process – lift and shift (rehosting) from on‑prem to the cloud.
• Experience in cloud guard rails for Azure.
• Experience implementing cloud strategies.
• Experience defining and implementing tool chains.
• Experience working in highly regulated environments (financial services, telco, utilities).
