Role
We are looking for a registered Mental Health Nurse or a professional with relevant registration experienced in working with children and young people with risk and complex mental health needs to join the CORE team within Leeds Children’s and Young Person’s Mental Health Service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, formulation, and evidence‑based interventions to children and young people up to 18 years old and their families in home and clinic settings.
- Work independently as a duty clinician, triage referrals and respond to calls.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and agency collaboration.
- Support the assessment clinic and contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Take part in reflective practice, continuous professional development, and supervision.
Qualifications
- Registered Mental Health Nurse or other relevant professional registration (NMC, SWE, HCPC, ACP).
- Experience working with children and young people with risk and complex mental health needs.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Location and Work Details
The role is based at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. No sponsorship is available; applicants must hold the right to work in the UK.
