Specialist Patient Infant Mental Health Practitioner
The post holder will work as a specialist practitioner contributing to the development and delivery of a specialist parent‑infant mental health pathway across Bolton Family Hubs. They will liaise closely with multi‑agency partners to implement a community‑based therapeutic service for parents, infants, young children and their families with a particular focus on early intervention. The role includes the assessment and treatment of parents/carers, infants and young children.
Responsibilities
The post holder will be expected to provide:
- Interventions, advice, consultancy and supervision to colleagues and external partner agencies in line with THRIVE.
- Assessment and treatment for parents/carers, infants, young children and their families.
Person Specification
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g. RMN, RNLD, OT, SW) and current registration (to be maintained).
- Relevant qualification in working with under‑twos/fives.
- Experience of evidence‑based parent‑infant interventions/training.
- Management and supervision of staff.
- Experience of community setting.

Salary: £39,959 to £48,117 a year pro rata.
