Job Description:

Dee View Court Neurological Care Centre is a specialist neurological service in Aberdeen, providing expert neurorehabilitation and long term care for 44 residents with complex needs. The home offers a clinically led yet homely environment, where a skilled multidisciplinary team supports individuals with brain injuries and neurological conditions to maximise independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) Contract

  • £18.50 to £19.55 per hour
  • Contracted to 35.25 hours per week, Paid Breaks
  • Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear and supported progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles, within a well led, professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs and long term conditions.

You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring safe, effective and person centred care at all times.

Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your clinical judgement to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, structured and supportive environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.

What We Are Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN
  • Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills
  • Confidence leading shifts and supporting a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in complex care or mental health is beneficial; we welcome nurses from a range of backgrounds who are keen to develop within this environment
