Senior Integrated Community Children’s Nurse

We have a fantastic opportunity for highly skilled paediatric nurses to join our service. Within our Integrated Children’s Community Nursing (iCCN) Service, we provide exceptional holistic care and support to babies, children, young people (BCYP) and their families across Portsmouth and south‑east Hampshire. Our dedicated team works collaboratively with families and the wider multi‑disciplinary team to deliver community‑based care.
Main duties of the job
- Utilise transferable nursing experience and gain new skills in a community setting.
- Continue professional development, including the Community Children’s Nurse Specialist Practitioner Qualification (CCN SPQ), the History Taking and Physical Assessment module (Level 7), and internal training.
- Develop leadership and management skills within the team.
- Shape and lead a responsive service that adapts to the evolving needs of BCYP in homes, schools and wider community settings.
- Provide part‑time fixed‑term service delivery.

Qualifications
- BSc Nursing or RN in Child Nursing, currently registered with the NMC. Post‑registration specialist training relevant to the speciality. Practice assessor and supervisor.
