Drainage Engineer

Overview

Join HomeServe as a Drainage Engineer and play a vital role in keeping our customers’ homes running smoothly. As a Drainage Engineer, you’ll be working in customers’ homes diagnosing and resolving drainage issues.

Responsibilities

• Clearing blockages using high‑pressure water jetting (HPWJ) equipment
• Investigating drainage problems and identifying root causes
• Carrying out repairs to domestic drainage systems
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Representing HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care
• HPWJ (High Pressure Water Jetting) ticket operations

Qualifications

• Experience working in drainage
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on site
• A positive, proactive approach to your work

Compensation & Hours

Salary: £37,220 – £41,810 (depending on experience) + £1,500 guaranteed bonus in your first year.

Hours: You will average 40 hours per week (including evenings, weekends and bank holidays). This is a field‑based role where no two days are the same, giving you variety and autonomy in your work.
