STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER

This role would suit an Engineer seeking to further enhance their structural design expertise within a collaborative environment, working closely with experienced technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations.
• Design structures in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
• Produce drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams such as architects, geotechnical, and MEP engineers.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and structural investigations.
• Contribute to sustainable and innovative engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles.
• Prior experience working as a Structural Design Engineer.
• Clear communication skills, written and verbal.
• Experience with Structural software such as Tekla, ETABS, Rhino, and AutoCAD.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering.
• Many graduate and specialist roles prefer or require a master’s degree.
• Progress toward chartership is highly valued.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Familiarity with Eurocodes or international design standards.
