This role would suit an Engineer seeking to further enhance their structural design expertise within a collaborative environment, working closely with experienced technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design calculations.
- Design structures in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
- Produce drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams such as architects, geotechnical, and MEP engineers.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and structural investigations.
- Contribute to sustainable and innovative engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles.
- Prior experience working as a Structural Design Engineer.
- Clear communication skills, written and verbal.
- Experience with Structural software such as Tekla, ETABS, Rhino, and AutoCAD.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering.
- Many graduate and specialist roles prefer or require a master’s degree.
- Progress toward chartership is highly valued.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Familiarity with Eurocodes or international design standards.
