Gas Repair Engineer

Qualifications

• Valid gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1, CKR1
• Experience repairing gas appliances and central heating systems
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on site

Responsibilities

As a Gas Repair Engineer, you’ll be working in customers’ homes diagnosing and repairing gas appliances and heating systems. Your day-to-day will include:

• Diagnosing faults on boilers and central heating systems
• Carrying out repairs to restore heating and hot water
• Carrying out boiler services
• Completing safety checks and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Representing HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care

Work Conditions

This field-based role gives you variety and autonomy. We provide tools, training, and support to help you do your job well.

Hours

You will average 40 hours per week (annualised hours – shorter hours in summer, longer in winter, with consistent pay). Includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
