JR PAT Testing is an expanding PAT and Compliance Company currently looking for engineers to join our team in Hartland. We offer self‑employed positions with flexible hours, allowing interested individuals to work either part‑time or full‑time.
Applicants must have a reasonable commuting distance to Hartland, although engineers can travel nationally. Roles offer potential earnings on a pro‑rata basis depending on the rate per appliance, the number of tests, and job dynamics. Projects range from one‑day assignments to long‑term contracts.
Responsibilities include traveling to sites such as hospitals, retail outlets, and other workplaces, performing PAT tests on a variety of appliances (microwaves, kettles, computers, etc.), recording results in a PAT test report book or electronic system, providing employers with copies of findings, completing completion certificates and checklists, and informing users of results and safety recommendations.

- Education Level: City & Guilds 2377 PAT qualification or equivalent.
- Months Experience: Proven competence in line with the City & Guilds qualification.
- Job Location: Hartland and commutable areas.
- How close to the job need to live? Reasonable commuting distance or closer, but engineers may travel nationally.

We require all engineers to have their own insurance, possess their own equipment calibrated at least once a year, and keep it in good working order.
