Our client is seeking experienced Safety Engineers to support safety activities across major UK defence programmes. You’ll contribute to safety assessments, risk management, and safety case development within a dedicated Safety Engineering skill group.

As a Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance in supporting the delivery of Safety policy and solutions to complex platforms/equipment type. It involves through life management of project safety risk management delivery in support of safe and suitable equipment, systems, and services.

Essential:

  • OME Safety Engineering
  • Safety Management experience
  • Facilitating PSEC & HLWG
  • STEM qualification (RQF Level 4+)
  • Proven delivery of safety systems/acquisition engineering
  • Professionally registered: IEng or RSci

Desirable:

  • OME Engineering experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of Defence OME regulation
