Acoustics Consultant

Overview

Acoustics Consultant position in Hertfordshire with a long established noise and vibration specialist providing a full range of acoustic consultancy design and reporting services.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking noise and vibration surveys
• Acoustics and noise impact assessments
• Supporting junior staff
• Writing technical reports
• Using noise modelling software to predict noise from complex environments
• Project management

Qualifications

Degree qualified, associate or full membership of the Institute of Acoustics and at least 1 year of working experience in Acoustics.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills, ability to connect with a wide range of people, pragmatic approach to problem solving, good knowledge and understanding of legislation and guidelines affecting acoustics, noise and vibration.
