Associate Consultant

Location: London (Hybrid, minimum 3 days in the office)

JMAN Group is a fast-growing data engineering & data science consultancy. We work primarily with Private Equity Funds and their Portfolio Companies to create commercial value using Data & Artificial Intelligence. We also work with growth businesses, large corporates, multinationals, and charities. Our team of 400+ people spans commercial consulting, data science, and software engineering, with offices in London, New York, and Chennai.

Position

Your key responsibilities

The primary focus of all our Consultants is to deliver high calibre commercial & technical solutions across our four core solutions: Core Reporting, Value Creation, Prep for Exit and Data Due Diligence.

  • Work as part of a small project team to deliver & build commercial & technical solutions for our clients
  • Develop & maintain client relationships, including identifying & helping realize new business opportunities.
  • Take responsibility for your personal development, supported by our L&D team, completing internal and external training initiatives as required.
  • Support (and lead) internal projects & activities such as developing new client solutions and organizing office socials.
  • Act as an ambassador of JMAN values and provide mentorship to more junior team members as you become more experienced.

Your skills and experience

  • Proficiency in German is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).
  • Excellent academic background and strong quantitative ability.
  • Proactive and high achiever in your chosen area of interest.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think from first principles.
  • Data science experience is valuable but not required.
  • Knowledge of analytical tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, and Python is valuable but not required.
  • Ambitious, thoughtful, and not afraid to voice opinions.
  • Thrives under pressure and sees challenges as opportunities.
  • High level of self‑awareness and takes ownership of personal development.
  • Self‑starter, willing to do what’s required to grow our London office.
