Security Consultant

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Security Consultant to support the delivery of secure, resilient, and compliant technology solutions across enterprise environments.

This role is ideal for a security professional with strong technical expertise and a consultative approach, capable of identifying risks, assessing vulnerabilities, and implementing effective security controls across systems, applications, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and risk reviews across enterprise environments
  • Design, recommend, and support implementation of security controls and best practices
  • Support and perform penetration testing activities and remediation planning
  • Provide guidance on secure architecture across networks, systems, databases, and applications
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to embed security throughout delivery lifecycles
  • Produce clear and concise technical reports, risk documentation, and executive-level summaries
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of security processes, standards, and governance

Skills & Experience

A CISSP certification is highly desirable. Additional certifications such as CISM, CEH, OSCP, or Security will also be considered advantageous.

Candidates should demonstrate hands‑on experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Computer networking – protocols, segmentation, and secure network design
  • Application security – secure coding principles and vulnerability management
  • Cryptography (desirable) – encryption standards and key management
  • Penetration testing – identifying, exploiting, and reporting vulnerabilities
  • Database security – securing data, permissions, and access controls
  • Operating systems (Linux & Windows) – hardening, patching, and security best practices

Desirable Tools

  • MS Office – reporting and documentation
  • Confluence – collaboration and knowledge management
  • Jira – task and issue tracking

Key Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and delivery‑focused mindset
  • Strong written documentation and reporting capabilities
