  • Work holistically with children, parents, caregivers, and people who use harmful behaviours, providing practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs.
  • Offer clear guidance to help families understand the dynamics of domestic abuse and reduce the impact of harmful behaviours.

Key Requirements

  • A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Education, Health, Social Care, Community Development, CACHE (NNEB), BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing, Registered General Nursing (RGN), or a Diploma in Youth and Community Work.

  • Significant post‑qualifying experience in a relevant setting—such as Education, Social Care, or Early Years—supporting children and families through both group and one‑to‑one interventions.
  • Experience working with diverse communities, completing assessments of need, and contributing to community development activities.

City of Wolverhampton Council is an equal‑opportunity employer.

Interviews will take place on 8th June 2026. The selection process will include a Children’s Panel and a written exercise on the day of interview.
