Job Title: Cook Supervisor

Rate of Pay: £13.49 per hour (double pay for bank holidays)

Position Type: Permanent

Type of Employment: Full Time

Hours: 30 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday (12:45pm to 7:00pm) Sunday (9:00am – 2:00pm)

Location: B&Q, Distribution Centre, Rockingham Way, Redhouse Interchange, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England, DN6 7FB

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals.
• Close of business.
• Perform stock controls.
• Serve as the face of the catering brand at the customer site.
• Undertake other duties required for effective operation of the site, including cash collection.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience within a similar environment.
• Supervisory experience.
• Appropriate level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills to perform role duties.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, high standards, eye for detail, hardworking, energetic, confident.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently, and flexible to take on different tasks as required.
• Food Hygiene and basic Health and Safety certificates are advantageous but not essential.
