This is an exciting opportunity to join our Senior Leadership Team in a role that is essential to the continued success and sustainability of the school. As Business Manager, you will play a critical part in ensuring that our resources, systems and environment enable high-quality teaching and learning.

We are looking for a skilled and committed professional who can combine strategic thinking with commitment to improving outcomes for all students. This post is a senior leadership position, responsible for all business and operational services across the school.

Core Areas of Responsibility

  • Financial leadership and budget management
  • HR and workforce management
  • Estates, premises and health & safety
  • Compliance (including GDPR and safeguarding systems)
  • Operations (contract management, services)

You will also:

  • Attend and support Governing Body and Finance Committee meetings
  • Provide strategic advice to the Headteacher
  • Ensure effective systems and processes are in place

Essential

  • Professional qualifications (finance, HR, business or ISBL)
  • Experience of estates or project management
