Commercial Manager – Healthcare Portfolio
Hybrid: Herne Hill, 3 days in the office. Salary: Up to £35,000, depending on experience and company. Benefits. Commission: circa £20,000 OTE. Contract: Permanent, full-time.

We’re looking for a Commercial Manager to join our MA Healthcare team, working across a diverse portfolio of respected healthcare brands spanning print, digital, events and medical education products.
Our portfolio supports professional audiences across:
- Animal health and veterinary
- Pharmacy
- Primary Care
- Wound Care
- Community healthcare
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and ambitious media business.
You’ll join one of MA Healthcare’s established therapy areas, building strong client relationships and helping to grow a respected portfolio that supports clinicians and improves patient care.
The role would suit someone confident, relationship-focused and commercially driven, who enjoys developing new business opportunities, managing accounts and working across multiple revenue streams.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive revenue growth across print, digital, events and medical education products.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of healthcare clients, building strong long-term relationships.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across the portfolio.
- Develop commercially effective solutions tailored to client objectives and campaign goals.
- Work closely with the Associate Publisher to support commercial growth across the portfolio.
- Build relationships with clients, associations and industry contacts to increase market visibility.
- Collaborate with editorial, marketing and production teams to deliver successful campaigns on time.
- Contribute ideas for new commercial opportunities, products and client partnerships.
- Manage your pipeline and workload effectively to achieve targets and deadlines.
- Attend industry meetings and events across the UK when required.
Must-haves
- Experience selling solutions and working towards commercial targets.
- Confidence building relationships and managing client accounts.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Commercial awareness, with a proactive approach to developing business opportunities.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- A collaborative mindset and confidence working cross‑functionally with different teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working across print, digital or event-based products.
- Exposure to healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical education sectors.
- Experience managing longer-term client relationships.
- International client exposure.
