Business Development Manager – Premium Hospitality

Reporting To: Regional Sales ManagerLocation: Field-based (regional, London)

The Role

Wellocks supplies premium food and ingredients to quality-led restaurants, hotels, and food-focused venues.

This is a commercially focused BDM role responsible for growing existing accounts and winning new premium hospitality business. You’ll be as confident talking margins as you are talking menus.

What you will do:

  • Deliver sales, margin and growth targets
  • Increase share of wallet within existing customers by identifying product and category gaps
  • Win new premium hospitality accounts aligned to the Wellocks brand
  • Use a consultative, menu‑led approach with chefs to introduce seasonal, specialist and premium ranges
  • Position Wellocks as a primary or preferred supplier
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of new and existing opportunities
  • Use CRM to manage activity, pipeline and follow‑up
  • Work cross‑functionally with category, operations and customer service teams to ensure excellent execution

What you will need:

  • Field sales / Business Development experience
  • Experience working with hospitality customers
  • Proven track record of confident and credible working with chefs and food‑led operators
    • Growing existing accounts
    • Closing new business
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Foodservice or food wholesale background
  • Knowledge of food categories and ingredients
  • CRM experience
  • Self‑motivated and target‑driven
  • Professional, credible and relationship‑focused
  • Resilient, organised and commercially sharp
  • Comfortable operating in quality‑led hospitality environments
