Client: BAE Systems

Location: Newcastle – A&P Tyne and WD Close Engineering

Contract: 12 months

Rate: £50/hr PAYE or £67.47 Umbrella

Working Arrangements: Full Time Onsite


BAE Systems is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join Strategic Manufacturing Supply Chain team. You’ll work onsite with suppliers and project teams to manage outsourced contracts, control costs, and ensure contract performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage supplier contracts, reconcile payments, and resolve disputes.
  • Track labour, review reports, and analyse cost performance.
  • Liaise with BAE and supplier stakeholders, including senior-level engagement.
  • Maintain records, cost trackers, and apply quality & safety standards.


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • RICS-accredited Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.
  • Experience with multiple contract pricing types and supplier cost management.
  • Strong Excel and commercial analysis skills.
