Our Client is a well-established and award-winning construction and civil engineering contractor. As they continue to strengthen their commercial team with the appointment of an intermediateQuantity Surveyor based in Dungannon.


This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join a progressive and supportive organisation, working on a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, educational, and infrastructure sectors.


As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of projects from pre-contract through to final account. Your responsibilities will include:


The Role

  • Negotiating and appointing sub-contractors
  • Managing sub-contractor packages from appointment through to final account
  • Preparing and submitting valuations and variations
  • Working closely with Contracts Managers and Site Teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Carrying out site visits to assess completed works, quality, and cost control
  • Ensuring full compliance with company systems, procedures, and information management policies

What Youll Bring

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor role
  • Strong working knowledge of construction contracts (e.g. NEC)
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Full, valid driving licence
