?? Project Worker – Filor Court / Conway Walk (Non 24hr Supported Housing)
Help People Live Independently, with Dignity and Purpose
Filor Court and Conway Walk provide supported housing for adults living with mental ill health, and addiction. With 41 self-contained flats and a culturally diverse team and resident community, this is a vibrant, complex, and rewarding service to work in.
You'll play a central role in supporting individuals to live independently, make empowered decisions, and take pride in their own space and life goals.
?? About the Role
This isn't your typical 9-5. Here's what a week might involve:
- One-to-one keyworking and support planning
- Facilitating daily groups – from bingo to baking
- Supporting people with budgeting, appointments, and community connection
- Advocating on their behalf with healthcare professionals and housing
- Monitoring safety across the building (e.g. legionella checks, fire drills)
- Supporting people with daily living tasks like shopping, cleaning, and maintaining their flats
- Completing records and daily reports that ensure safety and continuity
- Handling minor conflict with empathy and calm

- 41 tenants, aged 18 – 75, each with their own flat
- A strong group culture – residents participate in bi-monthly meetings, groups, and activities
- Daily structured activities chosen by the people we support: from meals to movie nights
- Trips to Newcastle, Portrush, and history walks
- Encouraging the creative endeavours of the people we support i.e. displaying their art around the building.
- Lunch & Learn sessions for continuous team growth
- No two days are the same – and the team wouldn't have it any other way

There’s no personal care or medication administration – your role is to empower, advocate, and support people in building fulfilling lives.
