The Role As Health & Safety Advisor, you will: Support the delivery of corporate health & safety strategy and associated improvement programmes. Conduct inspections across a wide range of operational and corporate environments, identifying risks and ensuring compliance. Carry out and support risk assessments, ensuring effective control measures are in place and regularly reviewed. Assist in the development and enhancement of health & safety policies, procedures and management systems. Work closely with managers and stakeholders to embed a strong safety culture across the organisation. Provide professional advice and guidance on health & safety matters to colleagues at all levels. Promote continuous improvement initiatives and behavioural safety programmes. You will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively, ensuring health & safety standards are upheld and continuously improved across all areas of the business. A NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent). At least one year's experience in a health & safety role, including inspections and auditing activities. Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance frameworks. Experience conducting risk assessments and supporting safety improvements. A full driving licence or access to transport to travel across Northern Ireland. NEBOSH Diploma). A criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining the position.
