This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee and develop junior Health & Safety Officers, bringing strong guidance and construction expertise—particularly from a civil engineering background. Lead, manage, and mentor on-site Health & Safety team members Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and industry best practice Deliver safety briefings, training, and toolbox talks Work closely with project and site teams to embed a strong safety culture Proven experience in Health & Safety within civil engineering or infrastructure projects Experience working with civil engineering contractors is desirable NEBOSH qualification Solid understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation You’ll be supported by an experienced senior H&S team, providing guidance and collaboration throughout the project.
