We are delighted to be working with an international Energy business as they look to add an experienced Senior Accountant to their Reporting Team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end process of preparing and filing statutory financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery along with audit-ready documentation.
- Draft and review technical accounting papers that clearly support key accounting judgments and decisions.
- Coordinate effectively with external auditors to meet reporting timelines and promptly escalate any significant matters to management.
- Evaluate balance sheet reconciliations and analytical reviews prepared by the team, offering constructive guidance and ensuring all outstanding items are addressed in a timely manner.
- Plan and manage team workloads to ensure outputs are delivered accurately, efficiently, and within agreed deadlines.
- Lead, mentor, and support the team while fostering strong collaboration with regional finance partners, promoting knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and adherence to best practices.
