ROLE: Engineering Supervisor

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (depending on site / client visits)

LOCATION: Peterborough, Northampton, Kettering, Leicester

Mitie are seeking a proactive Engineering Supervisor to support our Midlands portfolio of properties on the Department for Transport (DfT) facilities management contract!

You will visit engineers on site to ensure all works are completed and are compliant with H&S policies, as well as attending Client meetings to support with any queries / contract updates.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage the mobile engineering team and ensure appropriate levels of resources are deployed with succession and development plans in place.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with all statutory requirements and corporate policies including, but not limited to, Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, Environment & Sustainability and Employment Legislation.
  • Will operate as part of an effective Professional Maintenance team. The post holder will be driven, have enthusiasm, be self-motivated and be expected to work on their own initiative.
  • Help maintain accurate maintenance records and plant history.
  • Conduct Tool box talks 'TBTs' and team meetings.
  • Carry out site, engineer audits & ensure logbooks and work is compliant & recorded accurately.
  • What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience & M&E background,
  • Supervisory / management experience,
  • Confident with Microsoft Office platforms,
  • Full UK License,
  • Be confident at work and understand the requirements of working safely within a team environment,
  • Proven ability to lead, direct and motivate teams effectively,
