Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced BMS Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major BMS and Controls programme on a large, secure site.
This is a high-profile, long-term project where you will take ownership of day-to-day onsite delivery, working closely with a Senior Project Manager, engineering teams, and the end customer to ensure safe, high-quality and commercially successful outcomes.
This role offers strong technical challenge, project ownership, and long-term career development within a global leader in smart building solutions.
Please note: This role is site-based Monday – Friday and requires security vetting.

Lead onsite project delivery, coordination, and progress reporting
Build and maintain strong client, supplier, and subcontractor relationships
Validate design assumptions and support costing, scope definition, and execution planning
Manage subcontractor performance, contracts, and commercial outcomes
Track and report project progress to senior stakeholders
Ensure HSE compliance and conduct risk assessments
Support and mentor junior team members
- Proven project management experience within BMS / Building Controls
- Track record delivering projects in the £1M–£4M+ range (ideally larger)
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading onsite delivery teams
- Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and Word
- CSCS card & SSSTS (or willingness to obtain)
- Full UK driving licence
- Eligible for security clearance
- Experience delivering M&E or construction-based projects
- Knowledge of BMS platforms (e.g. Metasys, Tridium, Trend, Siemens, Schneider)
- Understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies
