Job Title: Financial Controller (6 Month FTC – Likely to go Permanent)

Location: Farnborough (Hybrid – 2 days office)

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + benefits

We are working with a well-established, multi-entity business to recruit a Financial Controller on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with a strong likelihood of the role becoming permanent.

This is a hands-on opportunity, reporting directly to the Head of Finance, playing a key role in stabilising and improving the finance function during a period of change and systems transformation.

The Role:
  • Ownership of month-end close and management reporting
  • Oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
  • Financial accounting, balance sheet control and reconciliations
  • Cash flow management and working capital optimisation
  • Driving improvements across finance processes and controls
  • Involvement in ERP system transition and implementation
  • Ownership of order-to-cash processes
  • Business partnering with internal stakeholders
About You:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Experience operating at Finance Manager or Financial Controller level
  • Strong background in both management and financial accounting
  • Experience managing transactional finance teams
  • Hands-on, proactive and comfortable in a changing environment
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Dynamics 365, SAP or similar)
