Job Title: Financial Controller (6 Month FTC – Likely to go Permanent)
Location: Farnborough (Hybrid – 2 days office)
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + benefits
We are working with a well-established, multi-entity business to recruit a Financial Controller on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with a strong likelihood of the role becoming permanent.
This is a hands-on opportunity, reporting directly to the Head of Finance, playing a key role in stabilising and improving the finance function during a period of change and systems transformation.
The Role:- Ownership of month-end close and management reporting
- Oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Financial accounting, balance sheet control and reconciliations
- Cash flow management and working capital optimisation
- Driving improvements across finance processes and controls
- Involvement in ERP system transition and implementation
- Ownership of order-to-cash processes
- Business partnering with internal stakeholders
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experience operating at Finance Manager or Financial Controller level
- Strong background in both management and financial accounting
- Experience managing transactional finance teams
- Hands-on, proactive and comfortable in a changing environment
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Dynamics 365, SAP or similar)
- Hybrid working (2 days in the office)
- 25 days holiday
- Flexible working hours (37.5 hours per week)
- Modern office location with good transport links
