Operating within a modern, fast-paced production environment, this role is essential in ensuring the smooth movement, storage, and handling of products across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment
Load and unload deliveries with accuracy and care
Transport materials to production and storage areas
Conduct routine equipment checks and report faults
Ensure stock is correctly handled and stored
Support warehouse and production teams as required
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures
Comply with company policies and best practices
Assist with general warehouse duties when needed
Person Specification
Essential
Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach preferred)
Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good communication skills
Reliable and flexible approach to work
Desirable
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Knowledge of stock control and warehouse processes
Experience with warehouse or inventory management systems
