Your Role as Sous Chef When you are on shift, you are responsible for the kitchen. This includes:Preparing food and ensuring high quality at all timesMaking excellent sushi and kushiyaki sticksKeeping the kitchen clean, organised, and safeFollowing food safety and hygiene standardsHelping to control food costs and reduce wasteSupporting and guiding other chefs on shiftMaking sure every guest receives a great plate of food, every timeYou will work closely with the Head Chef and be an important part of the leadership team.
What You Bring You already have:Experience working in a busy professional kitchenGood knife skills and sushi-making experienceEnough English to communicate clearly in the kitchenStrong attention to detail and high standardsRespect for kitchen rules, safety, and cleanlinessA desire to learn and grow as a chefKindness, teamwork, and mutual respectA positive attitude we support each other here
