AI Weather Forecasting Research Lead for Impact & Deployment

The Alan Turing Institute is looking for a Research Lead to advance AI-enabled weather prediction. This role involves managing a team of researchers and developing the FastNet machine learning model in collaboration with the UK Met Office.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in machine learning and experience in weather or climate prediction. This is a full-time position for 3 years, with a salary range of £66,482 – £72,000, alongside excellent benefits.
