Brewood School, located in Deal, Kent, serves pupils aged 11‑18 with a range of special educational needs (SEN) including SLCN, autism, ADHD, PDA, and SEMH. The school operates across two sites: Mill Hill (upper school KS4‑KS5) and London Road (lower school KS3).
As an Assistant Headteacher, you will work as a member of the senior leadership team to achieve the highest standards for pupils, implement policies and procedures, and support the Headteacher in the day‑to‑day running of the school.
Minimum Requirements
- QTS or QTLS qualification
- Similar senior leadership (SLT) experience in an SEN environment
- Up‑to‑date OFSTED knowledge and understanding of the SEN education sector and desired outcomes
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding and child‑protection qualifications, knowledge and experience

- Collaborate with the headteacher to clearly articulate, disseminate, ensure understanding of, and effectively implement the school’s vision among all stakeholders.
