About the Role
As part of the FRA’s commitment to delivering the highest quality learning experience across its Apprenticeship provision, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Apprenticeship Operations Manager. This pivotal role ensures the smooth running of apprenticeship administrative operations, focusing on quality, consistency, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of apprenticeship‑related administration while coaching, training and supporting a team of Apprenticeship Coordinators and Administrators.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant professional qualification in education and/or business administration or related subject (or equivalent) and Level 2 qualifications or equivalent in English and Mathematics (GCSE grade C/4 or above).
- Demonstrable experience working in HE/FE administration within a large, complex organisation, including team management and effective use of student records systems or similar databases.
- Strong knowledge of academic administration processes and policies, and effective customer service principles and best practice in education administration.
- Excellent communication, organisational, leadership and relationship‑management skills, able to manage priorities, lead teams and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
- Self‑motivated professional with a strong commitment to a positive, collaborative, student‑centred approach, focusing on customer service and learner success.

Salary
£35,550.00 to £42,750.00 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience.
