Security Officer

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Concierge Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working at a Hotel in Glasgow, G1 area. This position is working as a security officer within a hotel environment; the primary responsibility is to deliver a professional, welcoming, and secure front-of-house service.

Hours

On average 16 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Friday & Saturday 19:00-03:00 and 21:00-05:00.

Pay

£13.45 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional concierge-style front-of-house presence
• Welcome and assist guests, visitors, and event attendees in a courteous manner
• Act as an ambassador for Leonardo Hotels, maintaining a high standard of presentation and conduct
• Support the night shift team with operational and guest service requirements
• Assist guests with directions, queries, and general requests
• Maintain a visible presence in public areas to deter anti-social behaviour
• Respond to and manage noise complaints promptly and professionally
• Monitor and respond to alarm activations in line with site procedures
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises as required
• Report incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity in a timely manner
• Liaise effectively with hotel staff and management
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and security procedures

Person Specification

• A valid SIA licence; or applied for
• A full five year checkable employment history
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• An ability to work as part of a team
• An enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach
