Within the range £30,000 to £44,000 per annum. Starting salary subject to college salary assessment process. 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Job Description
We are seeking to recruit a Lecturer in Engineering and are looking for industry professionals who are able to demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for Engineering and the ability to encourage and inspire young people.
You will be aligned to teach on our T Level engineering programme. You will ideally have a level 4 (HNC) qualification or higher in an engineering subject or a similar field, GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications in Maths and English (or a commitment to achieving), and a teaching qualification (or a commitment to achieving within a specified timeframe).
We are particularly looking for individuals who can demonstrate and teach effective use of industry equipment such as lathes, milling machines, drills, grinders, welding and 3D printers.

Training & Support
A package of training support to help you get started in the teaching role. The opportunity to gain a teaching qualification, with remission from your teaching timetable to study towards a PGCE qualification.
Qualifications & Requirements

This post is based at Suffolk New College Ipswich campus; however, Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
