A growing UK business is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to provide high‑quality financial oversight and play a key role in the company’s next phase of growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished finance professional who enjoys leading a small on‑site team, improving processes, and delivering meaningful commercial insight.

Experience We’re Looking For

• Intercompany accounts, reconciliations and transactions
• R&D tax credits
• Margin reporting and analysis
• Team management and development
• Understanding of US finance requirements
• Month‑end and year‑end reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month‑end processes and produce accurate management accounts
• Manage cashflow, forecasting and budgeting
• Strengthen financial controls, processes and reporting
• Provide commercial insight and support to senior leadership
• Oversee compliance, reconciliations and financial governance
• Support ad‑hoc financial projects and decision‑making

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager
• Strong understanding of SME finance environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to improve processes and drive financial clarity
