Travel Nurse RN – Cardiac Cath Lab – $2,784 per week

Overview

Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures under supervision of cardiology team; provide circulating support when assigned.
• Support diagnostic and interventional procedures in the lab; assist with EP-related cases when applicable.
• Unit workload typically includes 4-8 Caths per day, with potential to increase as needed; assisting with diagnostic and interventional cases.
• Operate and assist with equipment (balloon pump, Impella, IVUS, iFR/FFR) and participate in TAVR, PFO closures, Watchman, EKO devices, and atherectomy using CSI, RotaPro and laser; perform angiography and balloon/stenting as required.

• 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required
• Circulate experience is preferred
• EP experience is a bonus (not required)
• Locals within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
• BLS and ACLS required

Additional Details

• Monday-Friday schedule with at least 14 days of call per month (call may include weekends)
• Dysrhythmia exam (study guide located in Simplify library)
