The Role

Build Manager is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a number of construction sites located within approximately 30 miles of Lincoln. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
  • Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and site presentation
  • Carry out short-term planning and scheduling activities

    Requirements

    • Valid SMSTS certification
    • Valid CSCS card
    • Previous experience in a similar Site Manager role
    • Strong site management and organisational skills
    • Excellent time keeping and record keeping abilities
    • Keen eye for quality and detail
    • Good understanding of CDM regulations
    • Ability to communicate effectively with contractors and senior management
