Associate / Junior Project Engineer – AV

The successful candidate will be paired with one of Kinly’s Project Architects, who are highly experienced in designing AV projects and will work on our most complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Project Architect on complex AV projects, producing M&E drawings and schematic documentation.
• Work independently on lower complexity projects, escalating queries to Project Architect to build experience.
• Produce supporting design documentation as required by the Project Architect.
• Take technical ownership of assigned projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Verify that equipment sold is suitable in final design.
• Produce build‑level design documentation—M&E drawings, schematic diagrams, rack layouts, architectural metalwork, schedules, and technical registers.

Qualifications

• Passionate about AV technology and experience working within AV, or coming straight from an AV‑specific Higher Education course.
• Good understanding of audio & video system fundamentals and technologies.
• Strong knowledge of AV cabling and connectors.
• Solid understanding of IT and networks.
• AutoCAD experience preferred but not essential.
