Kirkland Associates are supporting a leading engineering consultancy who are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer. You will deliver electrical design work for high‑pressure pipeline and plant systems, ensuring high technical standards, accuracy and compliance. The role involves independent work and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical designs for high‑pressure pipeline and plant systems
• Ensure designs meet technical standards, budgets and deadlines
• Work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain strong safety, quality and compliance standards
• Support Instrumentation design activities

Qualifications

• BS7671
• C&G2396
• AutoCAD
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Incorporated or Chartered (or working towards)
• Experience in utilities, pipelines or similar environments
• Strong knowledge of BS7671 and relevant British Standards
• Detail‑focused, methodical and able to work on your own initiative
