Maintenance Engineer
The Opportunity: This role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the factory, supporting both equipment and facilities. A qualified Electrical Engineer is preferred, but a highly experienced multi‑skilled technician with solid electrical skills will also be considered. Following training, you will work the permanent night shift with a base salary of approximately £54,000 plus shift premium and a company bonus.
The Role
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on all factory equipment
- Perform repairs on site buildings
- Assist in moving and re‑siting machinery and equipment as required
- Maintain machinery and equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules
- Ensure availability of physical resources (equipment, materials, premises, services and suppliers) required for planned maintenance activities
Qualifications & Experience
- Electrical Level 3 qualification ideal; candidates with C&G L3 or an HNC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering also considered
- Experience working in a factory setting essential
- Minimum of 3 years practical experience (bias considered)
- Good workshop skills, hand tools, power tools
- Experience in welding is advantageous

Working Hours
Days initially during training period, then permanent nights Monday to Thursday, 6 pm to 6 am.
