Location: Manchester

Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 + bonus.

Conditions: Company van, Monday to Friday, full product training, benefits.

About the Role

Work directly for a leading OEM in the machine tool industry. Perform servicing and commissioning on CNC and tooling machinery across a regional patch, focusing on mechanical and electrical fault finding, diagnosis, and routine maintenance. The role offers site‑based bonuses and is based at home on weekdays with no weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on CNC or tooling machinery.
• Commission and service specialist tooling machines.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures.
• Travel within the regional patch as required.
• Manage a 50‑hour week with potential site‑based bonuses.

Qualifications

• Background in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Motivation to learn and train from the ground up.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
