Job Overview

Diesel Generator Engineer for a privately‑owned power generation firm in the North East of the UK. You will cover events, construction and critical infrastructure sites requiring 24/7 active and standby diesel generator sets ranging from 14 kVA to 1.4 MW. Opportunity for progression within the Power Generation industry.

Day‑to‑day servicing, repair, load balancing, full overhauls, switch‑gear and control management, and other related duties will be your responsibility.

Package

£28 000 basic salary (negotiable). Company vehicle for door‑to‑door travel for personal use, overtime available, and other standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified Diesel Generator Engineer.
• Extensive experience working on critical infrastructure sites.
• Electrical and controls experience, including generator set load testing.
• NVQ level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
