Location: London (Finchley Central, N3)

Salary: Competitive salary (DOE – c.£80,000+)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineering Manager to lead an electrical design function within a building services consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design across commercial & residential projects
• Design and review LV/HV systems, lighting, small power, telecoms, CCTV and fire alarms
• Ensure compliance with BS7671, CIBSE and CDM regulations
• Produce and review drawings using AutoCAD, Revit or similar
• Carry out site surveys and technical reporting
• Lead and mentor engineers and junior staff
• Manage budgets, resources and project delivery performanceSupport client engagement, bids and business development

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
• Chartered Engineer (CEng – IET or equivalent)
• 12+ years’ UK building services experience
• 5+ years in a senior/leadership role
• Strong knowledge of UK electrical design standards
• Client-facing experience and strong communication skills

Skills

• AutoCAD / Revit / Dialux (or similar)
• Electrical building services design (LV/HV systems)
• Team leadership and mentoring
• Commercial awareness and project delivery focus
