Plant Fitter/Service Engineer (Plant Machinery)

Location: Reading

Salary: £40,000 to £60,000 (including overtime) – 8‑5 Mon‑Fri. Company van, fuel card, door‑to‑door and training available.

We are looking for a Plant Fitter/Service Engineer with a background in fault finding and the ability to diagnose and repair machinery on site. The role offers career progression opportunities, including training and pathways to senior engineering positions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plant machinery on site.




• Repair and replace parts to get machines ready for sale.




• Provide on‑site fault finding and troubleshooting.




• Work on site and office between 8‑5 Mon‑Fri, with overtime available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).




• Experience in fault finding and plant machinery maintenance.




• Ability to diagnose machinery on site with minimal training.
