Overview
Production Manager is required for a highly established global engineering and manufacturing organisation, recognised for delivering advanced vacuum and engineering solutions across semiconductor, scientific, industrial, renewable energy, and high-technology sectors. The company is known for its commitment to innovation, operational excellence, sustainability, and continuous investment in advanced manufacturing technologies across its global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Team Leaders and production teams across multiple manufacturing areas
- Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives using VTPS methodologies
- Manage production planning, labour utilisation, and workflow optimisation activities
- Monitor and report on operational KPIs including productivity, OTIF, quality, and labour performance
- Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions to improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate closely with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
- Ensure compliance with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 9001:2018 standards
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a manufacturing or engineering production environment
- Previous experience managing Team Leaders and production teams
- Experience with production planning, workflow control, and labour management
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, ideally SAP
