You’ll work on technically complex projects that shape the UK’s energy future while gaining opportunities to grow your expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.JOB DESCRIPTIONThis is a hybrid role based in Bridgwater, requiring four days per week on site, with support available for those looking to relocate closer to the project.As an HVAC Engineer, you will act as the link between design teams and on-site construction, ensuring technical issues are resolved efficiently.️ Act as interface between design teams and construction teams on siteReview site change requests and quality issue reports for completenessAssess proposed solutions and confirm suitable technical approachesSupport decision making on how changes and issues are managedAnalyse recurring site issues and suggest preventative actions️ Review technical documentation to ensure suitability for site useIdentify and report installation or documentation issues promptlyCoordinate communication between engineering and construction teams️ Support tracking of site performance and technical issue resolutionProvide practical engineering support to resolve site queries quicklyMY PROFILENuclear experience is not essential, but is of course welcome. If you have worked within a highly regulated environment, your skills and approach are highly transferable and of strong interest to us.We also recognise that the perfect candidate rarely exists. If you feel you meet around 80% of the criteria and are motivated to develop further, we would strongly encourage you to applyDegree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline️ Experience delivering HVAC systems within construction projectsUnderstanding of working within regulated engineering environmentsStrong and structured approach to solving technical problems️ Ability to deliver work to quality, time, and cost expectationsConfidence working with multiple teams across a project environmentAwareness of contracts and how projects are commercially managedUnderstanding of construction regulations and compliance requirementsReady to lead the way on one of the UK’s biggest clean energy builds?Join a team where your skills will help power the future.
